What can and can't be sold on Fizzy Jar, and what we do when something breaks the rules.
Last updated 25 October 2026
Only what you have the right to sell
Sellers must own the rights to what they sell, or have permission to sell it.
Not allowed
Anything illegal, or that helps someone break the law. Pirated, stolen or leaked content, or anything you don't have the rights to. Malware, or files that harm devices or steal data. Get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid or multi-level marketing, and products that promise income. Adult content, and anything that sexualises minors. Hate, harassment, or content that encourages violence or self-harm. Weapons, drugs, gambling, and fake documents, IDs or reviews. Anything our payment companies, Whop and Stripe, don't allow.
Files we accept
Every file is checked for malware before anyone can download it. Programs and installers, such as .exe, .dmg, .apk and .jar files, aren't accepted during the beta. Archives must be ZIP files, without a password. Up to 5 GB per file, 250 MB on free products and free previews, and 50 GB per store. Write to hello@fizzyjar.com if you need more room.
Allowed only with conditions
Money, trading and investing: education only. No promised returns, no signals sold as sure things, and no personal financial advice. Health, fitness and nutrition: no medical claims, diagnoses or cures. Courses that teach a skill for work: describe what's taught, not what buyers will earn. Exam and certification material: only if you're allowed to sell it. Software: it must do what it says, and nothing it doesn't say.
What we do
We can hide a product that breaks these rules, and email the seller the reason and what to change before it can come back.
Serious or repeated problems
We close a store straight away for fraud, malware or illegal content. For other problems we hide the product and tell the seller, and a store that keeps breaking the rules after warnings is closed. When we close a store, its products come off Fizzy Jar, buyers keep what they bought (unless a file is harmful), and refunds owed to buyers are still paid.
Reporting a product
Anyone can report a product or a creator. We read every report.
